    The answer I was looking for was as easy as I thought. Thanks to

Answer:

Create <newcov> <oldcov>
tables
select newcov.tic
calc xtic = xtic / 1000
calc ytic = ytic / 1000
quit
transform <newcov> <oldcov>

Original Question:

 This might be an easy one for someone, but it has me stumped. I have
a shapefile/coverage that is exactly 1000 times larger than it should. I

am sure that it can be scaled down .001, I just haven't figured how.
Whether doing it to the shapefile or the coverage does not matter. I
thought I could do it somehow with the project command, but nothing has
worked so far.
